A Lego Inside

An American artist has published Micro Schematic, a comprehensive anatomical study of Legos

"Micro Schematic": Inside Legos.
"Micro Schematic": Inside Legos.
"Micro Schematic": Inside Legos. Legos Inside: the skeleton. Legos Inside: circulatory, digestive and respiratory systems. "Pneumatic Anatomica": inside a balloon-dog. "Anatomie Gummi Bär": view of the insides of a gummy bear.
We’ve known for some time now that Playmobil, "Star Wars" action figures and Legos aren’t just for children. Many adults are fascinated by them and treasure them with greater devotion now than they did when they were young. But, what about science? Has it ever been interested in Legos?

Don’t think this is a joke. What did you imagine? That a Lego is nothing more thana little plastic doll with a permanent smile? Well, it’s not. Its anatomy is perfect, its bones, its circulatory system, its digestive system… all form a perfect organism. Could that be why Legos are such a success among children and adults?

If you want proof of this, visit Jason Feeny’s web page. This American illustrator notes every detail in "Micro Schematic"a comprehensive anatomical study of Legos.

Feeny has shown a certain fondness for revealing what things look like on the inside. He has previously published "Pneumatic Anatomica"- an anatomical study of balloon dogs- on his web page, as well as "Anatomie Gummi Bär" -an in-depth analysis of the insides of gummy bears.
