One day, some click-addict (although he/she still doesn’t know she/he is one of them) goes into a toy store to purchase a gift for a little nephew or her/his own child. That’s how he/she discovers that the old Playmobil boxes have not changed at all. What about the inside?, will they still be the same? I’m hooked!
You climb up to the cobwebbed attic and start opening junk boxes in the search for those old Clicks, hoping no one has thrown them away. Gradually, a few rescues, new purchases and exchanges later, you have turned into a true collector. You have also realized that you are not alone, there are forums and associations for click-addicts, fairs, Clicks theme parks, and you can even customize your toys.
A Clicks Fair is an enthralling place, no matter if you are new to the Playmobil world. These fairs are organized by the followers themselves to exhibit their great Playmobil collections and dioramas. Clicks are also sold there, both new and old, as well as all kinds of accessories and merchandising. You will never see so many little toys together in one place!
At least once in your life-time you should visit a Playmobil Fun Park, a theme park exclusively dedicated to Clicks. You have them in Germany (Zindorf), France (Paris), Malta, Greece (Athens) and U.S.A. (Palm Beach Gardens). We wish they could extend to other countries!
Visiting a Playmobil Fun Park is like living one day in the Playmobil World. Picture yourself staying at a nearly life-size Playmobil medieval castle, sitting in a Far West Saloon or standing by for boarding at the pirate boat. Choose your favourite theme and jump into the fun enjoying yourself as never before.
Collectobil and www.playmodb.org are like the “Bible” for any self-respecting click-addict. There you can find information on many of the Playmobil references released since 1974. For those still stack to the hard copy, there is also a printed “macro-catalogue”; the Collector.
