Designer Profile
Noriaki Baba was born in Tokyo in 1972, graduated in 1997 from the Tama Art University in Tokyo and went on to study a Special Course in Product Design at the School of Fine Arts. In 2002 Noriak began self-producing "snö design" (snow design).
Designer’s comments: ""snö" is Swedish for snow. The existence of a precious white snowflake lands on our memory, taking on different forms of expression. The strong hidden presence of this simple beauty recalls a sensitivity we’ve all but forgotten and finds expression in a delicate and transparent sensation". |
