This simple and practical invention is a Japanese design called "CD JOY", a play on words: CD + Joint + Joy
Have fun be joining your favorite CD cases together and connecting them with these little pieces of Japanese design. You can use them to create your own original box and store whatever you like in it.
Use "CD JOY" pieces to display and keep your favorite CD’s: you decide what shape to build. But remember that the more pieces you use, the larger your box will be.

Designer Profille
Yasuhiro Asano is an interior and graphic designer, whose concentration is on product design. He is a graduate of Milan Domus Academy's Master course and has completed in and won multiple design competitions. He even brought the Mongolian nomad dwelling, called GEL, into his office and turned it into a meeting room. The principle of space is seen in his designs everywhere.
Asano comments "CD JOY" I find myself living in an age when clutter overflows our day-to-day lives. Creating a CD box empty CD cases can become useful objects for storage while conserving the earth's resources. The more CDs you have, the larger and more useful your box can be with CD JOY. |
