Gina Huertas is the American inventor who created this clever bow. She thought of the idea when, as she was cleaning out her garage, a Christmas bow accidentally fell on a Barbie doll. That’s when she clearly visualized her invention: a bow used to wrap yourself up as a gift. And she called it "Naughty Knot". She started making the garment out of her mother’s kitchen in Chicago. And she created a web page to sell it, but it wasn’t very successful.

Then Gina decided to participated in a famous TV program called American Inventor, a show where scientists, engineers, and inventors of all sorts present their projects with the aim of finding a market. Gina publicized her bow and, as you can see in the video, she even took a model on the show to demonstrate how it worked. But the judges were not too pleased and they scoffed at her invention.

Months later, a manufacturer from Hong Kong contacted her about the invention and helped her launch it on the market. Today, "Naughty Knot" is on sale in over 900 shops in 40 countries around the world.

Exactly what I was looking for!

My husband said what he wanted for X-mas was me (his wife) naked in a bow. I thought ok, how am I going to pull that off? Thank you inventor (forgot your name) great idea, glad you got it launched and I am for sure getting this for my husband. After he ''unwraps' his gift, I'll post again and tell ya how he liked it. ~Peace and Holiday Blessings to ALL! Praises to God, Jesus is the Reason for the Season....Amen!
