Color Picker

This pen-shaped scanner scans the color of any object and stores it in its memory so you can draw using that exact same shade.

Scan a leaf...

With this unusual gadget, you can check whether that sweater you bought is really cherry red, or if your turquoise notebook is actually the same color as the sky. This tiny device is shaped like a pen but it’s actually a color scanner. Just like conventional scanners capture images, this gadget is capable of copying colors. From any object.

Unfortunately, it’s still only a prototype, but its inventor, Korean designer Jinsun Park, explained how it works.

Qoo is a brand of soft drink that belongs to Coca Cola Japan and has a mascot (also named Qoo) that is slowly becoming an international icon.

A new Qoo product, very refreshing orange flavor

Blue body full of curves, a single horn on its head, and an overall demeanor that’s very laid back. That’s Qoo, the mascot for a line of soft drinks with the same name made by Coca Cola Japan.

This soft drink first came out 10 years ago, but it’s still considered a novelty because Coca Cola has launched new flavors (peach, orange and apple) and has taken great care to select quality ingredients in an effort to obtain better flavors.

Edible Prints

Sawa Tanaka has created a collection of screenprints made out of food coloring and flavors such as ketchup, fruit juice or ice cream.

These eggs and sausages aren’t fattening

At first glance, it looks like a simple drawing, but these screenprints are made on rice paper using only food and drinks for coloring. They have a very cool design, and they’re also edible.

Instead of using paint and ink to create these unusual plates of food, designer Sawa Tanaka has painted on paper using only food coloring and flavors.

Gregg Segal is a photographer by vocation who got his first camera as a present when he was 11 years old. The first thing he photographed with his new camera was his neighbor’s garbage. As Segal himself explains on his web site, that was when his mother first knew he’d end up becoming a photographer.
