Animal Friendly "Spider Catcher"

Don’t squash any more spiders, use this clever invention to catch them and take them out to the garden. You won’t even need to touch them. They’ll be grateful!

You want one, don’t deny it!

You want one, don’t deny it! It treats insects with care Looks like a shotgun, but it’s harmless Afternoons in the sun with your Spider Catcher, who could ask for more? They won’t get away! The bristles open and close to capture the insect
There are so many web sites and blogs dedicated to publicizing the latest inventions, designs, and ideas, that it seems almost impossible to find something that’s truly surprising. But, fortunately, sometimes this still happens. The Curiosite team was surprised to find this truly bizarre invention on the Internet: Spider Catcher, and "ecological and animal friendly" spider trap. The "Spider Catcher" was developed by Irishman Tony Allen who spent years trying to catch spiders using vacuum cleaners and folded newspapers. He wanted to get rid of them without having to kill them.

That’s how he came up with the idea of inventing a contraption to pick up all sorts of insects without harming them. Allen tested his invention on hundreds of spiders, and none of them was harmed. The contraption was such a hit that Charles, Prince of Wales, was given a Spider Catcher on a one of his visits to Ireland. He was so impressed by the environmentally friendly gadget that he sent Tony Allen a letter congratulating him. Not many people can boast of having invented items that royalty actually possess!

The Spider Catcher could not be easier to use. Grab the handle and press the trigger to open the bristles. Track down the insect that’s been bugging you and, once you’ve got it in your sights, pull the trigger. The insect will be delicately trapped between the bristles without suffering as much as a scratch. Now, just look for a garden or patio to set your enemy free. Although you won’t hurt it, you’ll give it a good scare. It’s sure to stay away!

It’s the perfect give for people who are afraid of spiders, and, of course, for people who have everything. I bet you never even imagined something like this might exist!
