If you’ve always wanted to play guitar but never found the time to take some basic lessons, we suggest you give one of these guitar shaped plush dolls a squeeze. They’re a very practical alternative: you don’t need to learn to read music to enjoy them and they’re just as cool as the real thing.
They were designed and made by two people who are equally passionate about crafts and music and live in London: Jami, an American with experience in 3D design for film, and Nicolas, a French architect who now spends his days drawing musical instruments.
Put their resumes, their love of music, and their taste for crafts in a blender, and you’ll likely come up with their web page, The Grateful Thread, where you’ll find a good number of objects that pay tribute to the world of Rock&Roll.
Round cushions shaped like records, watches made out of vinyl that you can even customize with your favorite LP, or the Monsters of Rock collection, a cuddly bunch of plush dolls that are all members of the same music band.
And, as for the guitars, there are 3 different models: The Rebel, The Classic, and The Rock Star. You can choose different combinations of fabrics, colors, and textures... a very musical collection that guitarists, musicians and fans will all love.
