This Spanish company defines itself as a "laboratory of useless objects". They design things that’ll brighten up your day.

Once you try them, they’ll become a wardrobe staple Eat without getting them dirty Not without my remotes Anti-crime handbag Thieves won’t go near you if you carry this newspaper handbag Anyone up for a game of Tic Tac Toe before dessert? Impeccable crime scene
No doubt your house is full of stuff that’s basically useless but brightens up your day just the same. A perfect example is that Chinese kitten waving its hand at you. It doesn’t really serve a purpose, but you smile every time you look at it. It’s so kitsch! At Mite Mite, a Catalonian design studio, they design useless objects with this aim: to make our lives more fun. And also a little more absurd. These are some of their products:

Lazy Sunday Pants
For lazy people, this may well be the invention of the century. Far from being an unnecessary garment, these are sure to become a staple for the unemployed. These sweat pants have two peculiar features: a side pocket large enough to hold a couple of remote controls and a built-in place mat that’s secured on the thigh area using Velcro. So you can eat in front of the TV without getting your Sunday uniform dirty. And when you’re finished, just peel it off and put it in the wash. As for you, it’s time for a nap. After all, that’s what Sundays are for.

Kill Me Thrill Me Kiss Me
Duvet cover with crime scene drawings. Try to curl up in the shape of the silhouette; you’ll have a massive backache the next morning.

Bag Against Crime
Have you ever thought of disguising yourself as a beggar so you won’t get mugged on the streets again? Here’s another idea: urban anti-crime camouflage. Wrap your purse in old newspapers or, better yet, get one that’s ready-made by Mite Mite. They also have international versions, so everyone can get their favorite periodical. Of course, their names are slightly reworked: Le País (instead of El País), The Dependent (The Independent) and The Tames (The Times). To you, it’s a purse, to a thief it’s just a folded up newspaper.

Chips&Chips
If you’re going to mess up the tablecloth, you might as well do it while you play. You can play Tic Tac Toe with biscuits and croquettes, the loser will have to do the dishes!
