A few days ago we talked about Carlota's cookies and today we’ve discovered the wonderful world of Obamitas. Could it be that designer cookies with a message are a new trend? We love the idea, because we like cookies that are different, original, and unconventional.

These cookies are very "cool" but they’re also tasty because they’re homemade. They’re made fresh each day with chocolate, eggs, walnuts, sugar, butter, flour and also a little bit of hope and a whole lot of care. That’s how these treats that reproduce the face of one of the most charismatic men in our times come out of the oven. Who doesn’t love Obama?
On the Obamitas web site you can buy two different sized boxes of cookies; the small one costs 8.90 Euros and the large one 12.90. Why are they so expensive considering the crisis we’re in?
