Carlota's cookies are thematic; you can choose from one of their collections or order special designs.
"Driver’s License" cookie collection
Carlota’s cookies are constantly renovated. They adapt to fads, to each season’s holidays and to consumers’ tastes. They’re cookies made for and by people who are detail oriented and love both food and design.
Carlota’s are made by two sisters from Catalonia who have been baking thematic cookies for the past 10 years. The cookies take on the shape of the key objects or people in any given celebration: a bride and groom for a wedding, baby bootees for a first communion, or a birthday cake for parties.
Obviously, they don’t cost the same as the average pack of graham crackers, but they’re not made on an assembly line, and you won’t find them in any old supermarket. All their cookies are handmade using German recipes that go back ten decades and each cookie is decorated by hand using the best ingredients. They’re made without preservatives and will keep up to 2-and-a-half months.
You can make customized orders. For instance, would you like to put your production company’s logo on a TV shaped cookie? Your employees will love you for giving them such a delicious gift.
Although you can design your own cookies, you can also look at the very original collections on their website for ideas: the "Driver’s License" line, for people who’ve just passed the test; "Home Sweet Home" cookies, as a housewarming gift; or the "Get Well" pack, a gift for sick people.
They’re sold in boxes of 10 to 15 units and one dozen cookies cost approximately 40 Euros. Do you think that’s expensive? Just put on an apron and try to imitate one of their collections. In just a few minutes, you’ll realize it’s harder than it looks.
The cookies are a "very girlish" gift. If you need more ideas for gifts to give your girlfriend, mother, or wife, play with our Chinese Lion, he can recommend the perfect gift for her.
