Tuttuki Bako

This is Bandai’s latest creation, an interactive box-shaped toy with a hole on one side, so you can stick your finger in to get rid of the bad guys.

The inventors of some Infinite Toys, those absurd toys that reproduce moments of everyday life such as peeling a banana, have also created a new invention that was recently launched on the market in Japan.

It’s called Tuttuki Bako and apparently it’s a rather cheap-looking interactive game because the screen is in black and white and its protagonists look too much like the classic PacMan. The difference is that, instead of pressing buttons you have to stick your index finger in a hole on the right side of the red box. Once inside, your finger will become another of the game’s characters, you’ll see it as a black shadow on the box’s LCD screen.

There are 6 different games and they all require you use your finger to win. You can choose from a variety of themes such as squashing an amoeba, jostling a little man from side to side, making a girl sneeze by tickly her nose, or petting an adorable panda bear… Rack up points by moving your finger around!

On its web page, Bandai’s announcing another invention that also uses tactile technology: an alarm clock with Tuttuki Bako’s exact shape and characteristics. Will we be able to snooze 5 more minutes by sticking our fingers in the hole?

For now Tuttuki Bako is only sold in Japan, but many have been trying to get their hands on one through the Internet. Those who have tried it assure us it’s very addictive, once you start playing you can’t stop.

With this sensory Tamagochi, the satisfaction of “getting rid of the bad guys” will be greater than ever.

Hard to find
This toy is really hard to find, you wont get it in normal toy stores. Normaly it is available in japan only, but if you are lucky you may have a chance to get it here (http://www.tuttukibako.com/toy/buy-now) Some people prefer this as a very funny gift for someone who already owns it all.
