A renovated classic: the condom
From the ones made from animal intestines to the glow in the dark condom or the new Condometric. What’s the next big thing in the condom world? |

The condom is a classic item, but there have been a lot of new improvements. You already know the main function is to protect, but the market offers hundreds of different types of condoms to spice things up. Don’t just think of colour, flavour, size ... all those different ranges are great, but there’s a lot more to it, there are also special condoms for that extra bit of fun. Continue reading and you’ll find out.
“Love Light”, the condom that glows in the dark. Yes, that’s right, it glows in the dark! And it lasts for fifteen minutes! This is like having your own laser light saber, like Luke Skywalker. And don’t worry, there’s no dangerous hazard and it’s not toxic.
If you are still thinking about size, here you can find another great invention: Condometric, the first condom to include a size meter so you can measure the size of the penis when erect. You use it like an ordinary condom and you can also find out how much your penis grows during sexual intercourse.
If you are one of those extremely discreet people, then “Unique” is your condom. It’s four times finer than latex, the packaging looks like a credit card, so you can carry them in your wallet without damaging them, and they hardly take any space. Besides, they’re made from synthetic resin, they’re hypoallergenic, very strong, and tasteless, they don’t smell like rubber... well, let’s just say they’re great!
This is hard to beat stuff, don’t you think? But I’m sure we’ll soon be surprised with some other genius idea. The world of condoms is constantly on the move, though condoms were not invented yesterday. The Egyptians already used condoms and the Roman soldiers use them widely, they took this invention every where they went, so this might prove Asterix wrong: Romans were not that mad after all.
Latex and resins are relatively new to condoms. In the old times they were made from animal intestines, and they were reusable! Can you imagine that!, they used them, washed them and then folded them back into their pockets. They used to be very expensive and hard to make, handmade, of course. The oldest condom still preserved was found in a castle in Dudley (England), made from pork tripe it dates back from 1640.
