When the Smoke Detector Wall Clock detects smoke, the red light on the back starts flashing; and after a few flashes a high-pitch alarm will sound. To stop the alarm, you’ll have to remove the smoke detector’s 9-volt battery.
Once installed, we recommend that you check your Smoke Detector Wall Clock to make sure it works correctly. Make sure the battery’s working and doesn't need to be replaced. It’s also important to run a weekly test by pressing the test button behind the clock and holding it down until the alarm goes off, but first make sure you tell everyone it's only a test so they won't panic...
