The "Odys" digital graphic pen is a gadget that combines all the advantages of the most advanced technology with the appeal of things that are handmade. Quickly and easily upload handwritten notes from your notebook onto your computer. The digital graphic pen includes a memory unit with a USB connector that stores note. It’s fully portable so you can take it to class, use it in a meeting or travel with it.
How does it work?
Before using the digital graphic pen, you first have to install the "Note Manager" software on your PC.
Put the memory unit on top of the notebook or page and use the pen to write, sketch, jot down notes or take dictation, just as you would with any normal pen.
The pen sends that information to the memory unit using ultrasound and infrared technology.
The notes are stored in the memory unit.
Connect the memory unit to your PC using the USB cable and start uploading your notes and dictations, written in your own handwriting.
You can also write on paper and look at the results on your computer in real time.
The digital graphic pen can also be used as a mouse.
The memory unit can store up to 100 written paper pages with its 2 megabytes of storage capacity. You can use the software to change the notes’ color. The notes will be stores as JPG files, so you can send them by email without a problem. The memory runs on a rechargeable Lithium Ion battery that lasts up to 100 hours and the pen runs on 2 SR41 button batteries.
