If you want to redecorate your home in a way that is original without having to paint or fill the walls full of holes, all you need are some vinyl stickers. These vinyl stickers are the perfect substitute for old-fashioned wall paper.
As the name indicates, these decals are made out of vinyl, an extra tough, flexible material and durable material. They easily stick on any flat surface.
The Mega Man decal is made up of 25 different vinyl stickers that you can use to recreate your favorite scenes from Mega Man, the fearsome Bosses (there are 8 different ones), the energy bar, etc.
Just combine the different elements any way you wish, let your imagination loose and choose the right place for each sticker.
These vinyl stickers were created by BLIK, a design and product development firm located in Venice, California. BLIK was the first company to create reusable vinyl wall stickers. Aside from having their own line of stickers, they have also developed products for brands such as Gap, MTV and Land of Nod.
How to Apply Vinyl Stickers
Prepare the surface. Make sure the surface is clean and dry before applying the vinyl sticker. If the wall was recently painted, you’ll have to wait a few days until the surface has absorbed all the paint.
Create your design. Before you peel off the backing on the adhesive, move the vinyl decals around and change their position on the surface. When you see them on the wall, you’ll get a better idea what the results will be and you may also come up with new ideas.
Rub the back of the sticker with a credit card, a spatula, or your hands to peel it off.
Carefully peel off the top of the paper covering the adhesive strip on your vinyl sticker.
Stick your vinyl up. It will look better if you hold the corners and carefully stick the rest of the vinyl on while you press it down (to prevent air bubbles from forming) and peel off the paper on the back.
Peel the front cover off the vinyl sticker. Your vinyl sticker comes with a thin clear strip of plastic covering it in order to protect it from damage inside the box.
Now your vinyl is in place. Use a needle to prick any air bubbles you might find.
If you want to, you can reuse these vinyl stickers and change their position or location. It’s easy, just peel them off, starting in one corner, and stick them on a different surface.
