Matryoshka are traditional Russian dolls. They’re usually hand-painted and made of wood. What’s special about them is that they are hollow inside, so each doll holds another smaller doll inside, which in turn holds another doll, and so on... Why not apply this simple technology to all sorts of objects?

This is how these measuring cups work. When you store them in the kitchen cabinet, they look like a single minimalist white matryoshkas. But, when you open the it, there are 2 more dolls inside.

What you get are 6 cups (3 heads and 3 bodies) that you can use as a reference to measure out 1/4, 1/3, 1/2, 2/3, 3/4 or a full cup, every measure you could possibly need to make any dish or dessert. And, when you’re done cooking, just wash them, put one inside the other and put them back in the cabinet.

So cute and functional--a must have in every cute kitchen!

I absolutely love these matryoshka Russian measuring cup dolls! They are so cute and the fact that they have an actual function as measuring cups is brilliant! The tallest one is about 5-6 inches tall, so they are compact enough to sit on a windowsill if you want. Great gift for a creative person.
