Put a 'Hanappa' in your life, it'll help lift your spirits and spare you a visit to the shrink. This robot plant will be your best ally on those tough days when everyone seems bent on going against you: your boss, your wife, your kids... forget them and make friends with 'Hanappa'.
This little flower is a Japanese design that will never dry up, because it’s actually an electronic device. You won't have to water it... but don’t forget to change the batteries. It runs on 3 AAA batteries. That is the only thing 'Hanappa' asks in exchange for becoming your number one fan.
'Hanappa' works using an internal chip that detects patterns of expression in your voice. Its stem is made of 'bio metal', a material that can be molded and bent. When electricity runs through it, the plant moves as if it actually had muscles.
It responds to you when you talk to it by moving its stem and leaves up and down and by bowing as if it were doing a courtsey. Its movement becomes more exagerated the more it agrees with whatever you’re saying.
There are three different flowers available: sunflower (yellow), gerbera (pink) and daisy (white). Each of them does different things:
Sunflower:
Nods and shakes its head.
In the language of flowers it stands for spirit and adoration.
When you press the lady bug on its base: it cheers up again after nodding its head from side to side, nods twice or gently bows its head.
Gerbera:
Nods yes with its head and moves one of its three leaves.
In the language of flowers it stands for mystery and adventure.
When you press the lady bug on its base: the flower moves 4 times, the flower and one leave move, the flower nods yes, or it gently bows its head
Daisy:
The twin flowers move.
In the language of flowers it stands for secret love and sincerity.
When you press the lady bug on its base: the twin flowers move with zest, the fower on the right moves twice and then the flower on the left moves twice, or the flower on the right gently bows its head.
