Javier Cejas has been working in the hospitality business for four years now, in a cocktail bar to be precise. This barman from Barcelona is a Fine Arts graduate who decided his thing was mixing drinks after he realized the art world was not for him.
The book starts with a chapter dedicated to the etymology of the word "cocktail" and goes on to relate 28 stories associated with 28 cocktails (along with their respective recipes).
The illustrations and the texts are in pencil and they’re really amazing, as are the curious stories created by Javier Cejas.
In addition to Gin-Tonic he’s written Spain for the foreigners, also published by Editorial Morsa.
