If there were a master’s program called "how to eat spaghetti without getting completely frustrated and dropping it on your shirt", no doubt more than one enemy of this Italian dish would sign up for it in a heartbeat.

Spaghetti is delicious, but, why is it so long and slippery? And why is it so hard to turn your wrist so you can wrap the pasta around your fork and eat it? A lot of people use a spoon for help, but critics point out that this habit is "not very Italian".

What would Italians think of this twirling spaghetti fork? With its colors, rounded shape and thickness, it looks as if it were made for children, but it’s actually a gadget designed for people of all ages. The only prerequisite is that you should be completely incapable of eating spaghetti. The motorized fork makes things easier and it’s also fun. Load it with two batteries, press the button and enjoy the show:

If you found the video inspiring and can’t wait to eat a plate of spaghetti, here’s another gadget that’ll come in handy in your kitchen. It’s a round spaghetti measurer, with an adjustable inner ring that measures the exact amount required for 1, 2, 3, or 4 people. Now nothing can stop you from gorging yourself on spaghetti!
