Rainbow Bird: A magic spray bottle you can use to make your own miniature rainbows
Some spray bottles are used to water plants, but this bird was specially designed to help you create your very own rainbow.
Niji No Tori (Rainbow Bird)
Everyone likes looking at a rainbow. It’s such a beautiful and magical natural phenomenon... But, what if I said you can create your own? Would you believe me?
It may seem like a hoax, but thanks to a toy called Niji No Tori (Rainbow Bird) this is now possible. A Japanese company called Hachimitu Create invented this device.
It looks like a spray bottle with a very colorful drawing of a bird on it and, actually, the mechanism used is exactly the same as on a normal spray bottle. However, the concept is extraordinary and original. Some spray bottles are used to water plants, but this bird has been specially designed to help you create your very own rainbow.
Rainbows appear when water drops refract rays of sunshine. Because the nozzle is placed face up, the water you spray spreads out over a wide surface. This makes it easier for a rainbow to appear.
All you have to do is fill the device with water and close the lid. Then you have to shake it to pressurize the air inside. Then just push the spray button and spray the water towards the sunlight. Your miniature rainbow will appear while the water spray is in the air. Shaking the bottle and spraying water will become an addiction.
It also has a self-spraying feature. The spray button can be held down so it automatically sprays water for a while. If you shoot from a height, such as a second or third floor window, you can enjoy a rainbow several meters wide.
It’s a very beautiful recreation for sunny days, don’t you think?
