Muscle March is a Wii game that reproduces a gym’s homoerotic environment. It’s out only in the Japanese market.
Muscle March characters look like this
Muscle March is the name of this atypical Wii game by Bandai Namco Games. It’s only been launched on the market in Japan. It’s a game the recreates a gym’s homoerotic environment, and the protagonists are some very peculiar characters: a bunch of body builders and a polar bear.
The game is very simple. You have to hold the Wii remote
and use it as a nunchaku. Just lift it up or down as the body builders compete in absurd races to catch a thief who has stolen their vitamins. If you keep your muscles in the right position just as they’re about to reach a wall, you can go through it. If you fail to do so, they’ll become weaker.
This is really easy to do at first, but after a while the difficulty level suddenly rises. And with this new lever it’s nearly impossible to keep your arms in just the right position.
It seems people outside Japan are really impressed by the game: "¡This is why I want to live in Japan!, What’s that thing that looks like a hamster, it doesn’t even have muscles! (He means the polar bear), What kind of drugs are Namco’s workers on?"
Unfortunately, we very much doubt this Wii game will come out in the West. Now, that’s a shame!
