Infinite Toys, Bandai’s collection of absurd playthings, strikes again with Tokoroten, a toy that imitates a little gadget used to make Japanese noodles.
Bandai’s Latest Infinite Toy Mugen Tokoroten
There are certain things in this world that are inexplicably addictive. The products in Bandai’s Mugen collection (Infinite Toys) were created based on these absurd vices like popping bubble wrap bubbles, opening cans, peeling soy beans incessantly, that are inexplicably popular in every corner of the world.
A new product in this collection was launched just a few weeks ago. It’s called Mugen Tokoroten. With this little gadget, you can make traditional Japanese noodles ad infinitum.
Noodles are a staple in Japanese cuisine during the summer and are often eaten cold. An agar-agar gelatine is used to make them. A square shaped block of this gelatine is insterted in a Tentuki, an wooden or plastic contraption that gives the noodles shape. With Bandai’s toy, you can enjoy making Tokoroten incessantly.
It’s a stress relieving toy for people between 30 and 40 years old. If you’d like to see the other toys in this series, just take a look at the videos promoting the Edamame (soy bean) collection.
