Moleskine + Kleneex = Moleskleenex

Moleskine, that legendary little black book used by Hemingway, Picasso, and Van Gogh, has been reconverted into a practical tissue dispenser.

Twentieth Century bohemians, the kind that carried their little black notebooks everywhere they went, would no doubt have found this invention fascinating. Surely there’s no more elegant way to blow one’s nose than by taking a kleenex out of a tissue box shaped like a Moleskine notebook. That’s exactly what it is, a little book made of kleenex that looks like a Moleskine notebook. That is to say: Moleskleenex.

This clever notebook was designed by Miss Rosenthal and, as you might have imagined, instead of striped pages, it has spiral bound tissues. The covers are made of black paper, and the designer has even thought of wrapping the little "notebook" with a ribbon, a detail that, on first sight, makes it look exactly like the original Moleskines.

You can use these to clean yourself up, to blow your nose or to jot things down, as if it were a real notebook. Who hasn’t written themselves a memo on a tissue at some point? We don’t know whether Moleskleenex will be on sale soon or not, but it could be the perfect gift for all those writers and fans of the legendary Moleskine.
