A kit you can use to make aminiature version of you, a chess set you have to paint yourself, a cardboard house you can make at home.... The DIY world is gaining strength. But, even though we keep finding gifts that are more and more original and stimulate our creativity, we never thought DIY would end up in our kitchens!

This is a kit you can use to make your own cheese at home. It's a cardboard box that contains all the ingredients you need to become an expert cheese maker. Imagine making a pizza and using mozzarella you made yourself? Or, inviting friends over for dinner and offering them a salad with homemade ricotta? If the very thought of this frightens you because you've never so much as donned an apron, don't worry, anyone with two hands can make these cheeses. It's easy and quick and, apparently, the results are amazing.

You can make 10 different cheeses with each kit (mozzarella or ricotta), which gives you plenty of chances to innovate and experiment with different spices, herbs, shapes and sizes. All you need to do is add non-pasteurized milk (you can even use goat's milk) and follow the instructions outlined in the instruction manual. It won't take you much time or effort and, best of all, you can brag about being a top-class chef. Isn't it amazing that you can get cheese out of a little cardboard box?
