Karada Trainer, A Personal Trainer in your Headphones
Karada Trainer a set of headphones that acts as a personal trainer, take them running and they’ll teach you how to exercise correctly.
They look like normal headphones, but they’re actually a personal trainer
Running is a healthy sport, but it’s not very efficient if you do it haphazardly. With the Karada Trainer personal trainer, a set of headphones made by Sega Toys and designed to keep you company while you exercise, you can increase your efficiency by 20-30%. This gadget won’t wear you down because it’s personally directed at you and it tells you what exercises you need to do based on your heart rate.
First choose a mode: running, walking or doing aerobics. Then program your age and put the headphones on. A built-in sensor will check your pulse rate. You can also use it along with your iPod, or any similar music player, so you can listen to music while you exercise.
One Karada Trainer User had the following opinion: "As soon as I started running, it told me to slow down. I slowed down the pace, almost to a walk, and then it told me that I was doing a good job. Since I didn’t feel like I was really exercising, I ran a little faster, but it told me to slow down again. While I was exercising, I started to doubt whether this could really have good results, but when I finished I realized that I’d been running for quite a while and had gone a long way. Plus, I wasn’t too tired. When my heart rate is above the target rate for more than 5 minutes, the trainer headphones turn off, almost like a punishment. It won’t even let me listen to my iPod... With this personal trainer, I can train without over-exerting myself and have fun at the same time".
