Following on the heels of Slanket's success... a comforter with built-in gloves.
The new Slanket is called Happiness in Bed and it's a duvet cover with built-in gloves, so you'll be nice and warm while you stay up reading in bed on cold winter nights.
Last Christmas one product on Curiosite broke all sorts of records. Beyond a doubt, the most original gift was the Slanket, that blanket with sleeves that an American student came up with as a way of enduring the cold in his unheated apartment. We must admit that, at first, we weren't entirely convinced this product was such a great idea. But, it was such a hit among our customers that we even ended up getting a Slanket for ourselves. And that turned out to be a great idea, especially for those of us who work at home on the computer or are just especially sensitive to the cold.
Just recently, we came across another product with a very similar concept. It's called "Happiness in Bed" and it's basically a spruced up version of the Slanket. "Happiness in Bed" is essentially a white duvet cover with two pairs of gloves built into it. It may look like a joke at first glance... but just remember the Slanket! I bet you once we try this we won't be able to live without it.
It also has little details we just adore: the different colors on the sides of the fingers, or the missing index finger, which makes it easier to turn pages while you read. It's perfect for reading without freezing your hands off, playing video games, or handling the remote control from the comfort of your bed. You'll also be able to handle your iPhone and other touch-screen gadgets. The only danger we see in this is that you might be tempted to work in bed.
This product is exactly what I need, but I haven't been able to find it... I thought that nobody had come out with this idea, so I was thinking of buying the materials and doing one for myself. Is it already on the market? Thanks!
