This is Clockman
Clokman is a Japanese clock that has no hands to indicate the time. It doesn’t even have a digital display. How does it tell time? Well, it talks! And it’s quite a chatterbox. Whenever it has nothing better to do, it starts talking. It says different things depending on the time of day and season of the year. And, when your birthday comes around, it’ll wish you a happy birthday. If it’s feeling happy, it sings. However, if it’s in a bad mood, it’ll even refuse to tell you the time.
If it’s too noisy for you, you can lay it down to sleep by just turning it on its side. That way it’ll stop talking. It also has a schedule of its own, if you ask it something at an inconvenient time, such as at dawn, it’ll get pissed off.
This is what ClockMan is like: type A tends to be a perfectionist, type B is typically goal-oriented, type O pays little attention to detail, and type AB is always trying to escape. The ClockMan that appears in the video seems to by type O.
Put a ClockMan in your life to make it happier and a whole lot more fun. It’ll be out in Japan at the end of November 2009.
