A wall sticker that turns into a chair

It's a sticker that looks like a backrest and, when combined with all those books you have scattered about the floor, it becomes a very convenient seat.

Pile up books and magazines to make a chair for your living room.

Pile up books and magazines to make a chair for your living room. It's as simple as a backrest wall sticker Perfect for small waiting rooms, it doesn't take up any space! Sketch from the Amplifier firm
So, you'll no longer have an excuse not to invite your friends over for dinner. With this vinyl wall sticker that looks like a backrest, you can create those missing seats and turn your tiny living room into a proper sitting room. And, best of all, you won't even have to pick up all those books you have scattered about, just pile them up and place them in front of the vinyl backrest.

Choose big and heavy books to use as seats for your guests. It may not be the most comfortable chair in the world, but it's safe to guess it's one of the most original. And once your guests leave... just put the books away and voilá, your living room is back to normal.

This great idea was designed by Florian Kremb at Amplifier, a London-based design firm that turns banal objects into different and, especially, useful things of beauty. The backrest wall sticker is perfect for small homes, minimalist studios and even waiting rooms. With this new invention, you won't need to stack gossip magazines on a coffee table.
