| 1. ¿How do I place
an order? |
|
| 1.1 Your
shopping cart. How to put items in it |
|
You can purchase items and freely browse Curiosite with
no previous registration required. When surfing our site, you can easily
add items to your shopping cart. All you need to do is click on the “Add
to shopping cart” button that you will find below each product.
Each time you add an item you will then be taken to your shopping cart which
will show all the items that you have been choosing and wish to purchase. You
can easily change quantities you wish to purchase. It is important that you update
the information whenever you make any changes, by clicking on “Update”, this
way you will never lose track of the total cost of your order.
Taking items out of your shopping cart is equally easy: you
only need to click on the “Remove” button that you can find
below the number of units chosen for each item.
While browsing and surfing through
Curiosite, you can check the contents
of your cart at any time by clicking on the “Shopping Cart” icon that
you will find at the top right of every page. You can go back to the catalogue
by clicking on “Continue shopping”. When you’ve made all the choices and you
are ready to submit your order, click on “Proceed to checkout”. |

| 1.2 Confirming
your order |
|
To be able to proceed with your order, we need some
details from you. Once you have clicked on “Proceed to Checkout”,
you will then have to enter your email address and specify whether this is your
first purchase or you are already a customer at Curiosite. Then, if you wish
to proceed, click “Continue” and fill in the form that is displayed.
This is where we will ask you all the necessary details to deliver your
order. You can also specify if your order is a gift. Please tick the
“I want this order to be a gift” box and write down the text that you want to
be sent out with your order. Please make sure to accurately enter all the recipient’s
details, not yours (as these will be the address for delivery purposes).
At this stage we will ask you to enter all the necessary details to for
payment purposes. Please check all your order details carefully and
make sure that all items and quantities are the correct and chosen ones.
Select shipping option (standard or fast), payment
method (credit card or bank transfer) and enter billing details. Please
note that if you tick the gift box, billing details will be different to the
delivery details that you had previously entered. Click “Continue” to submit
your order.
If everything is correct, a summary of order will be displayed including
all the data that you had previously introduced. When the system detects some
error or incorrect detail, you will get a warning message (telling what the problem
is). When you check that all details are correct and you do not want to change
anything, please click “Continue” to confirm and submit your order. Only at this
stage can we say that your order has been completed. You will then receive a
confirmation of order message.

Most importantly, we have designed for our customers
convenience and usability.
You can check it yourself when you place your first
order at Curiosite; and even more so (easier and quicker) on
your next purchases, as the system will remember your details,
so that you don’t need to type them in again each time you wish to place an order.
Also, you can easily update details if you change your address or credit card.

| 3.1 Credit

Curiosite accepts the following credit cards:
· VISA
· Mastercard
· American Express
The easiest and most convenient payment option
is by credit card. Our shopping process is a completely secure transaction, as
all the information provided by our users travels encrypted on the Internet and,
once we receive it, your details, credit card details will only be stored in
computers with no Internet connexion.
Credit card charges will always be in Euros. If you place your
order in GB Pounds or US Dollars, we need to convert the amount to Euros. The
currency conversion rate used will be that effective at the date of the transaction
to ensure that the final charge which is paid in Euros accurately reflects the
total costs of your order in GBP or USD. However, very small deviations occur.
Finally, please note that payment is only deducted from your card when your
order is dispatched to you from our warehouse. |

| 3.2 Bank
Transfer |
|
Bank transfer is the second payment option that we
do accept. If you want to arrange for bank transfer payment, please place your
order first. Once you have submitted your order, you will get your order number
(by email) which you need to use as a reference so that we can track your bank
transfer.
As soon as we receive payment, we will continue processing your order.
Your order will be valid for 15 days. After that time, if you have not fulfilled
payment, the order will be automatically cancelled.
PLEASE NOTE:
All bank transfer transactions involve some commission charges, these costs depend
on the bank and country where you are arranging the transfer from. PAYMENT OF
THESE COMMISSION CHARGES IS ALWAYS CUSTOMERS’ RESPONSIBILITY.

Please don’t forget that the amount you need to wire/transfer is the
TOTAL that appears in your order summary. If you make your purchase in US Dollars
or GB Pounds, please transfer the exact amount displayed as your order total,
we will automatically be getting it in Euros.

it safe entering online my credit card details? |

Absolutely, 100% secure transaction. All
the information provided by our users travels on the Internet using secure servers
that encrypt the data using an SSL protocol. The credit card details will never
be stored in computers that could be accessed from Internet.

Generally, the only payment methods that we DO accept are credit
card and bank transfer.

| 4. What currencies
are prices at Curiosite displayed in? |
|

(EUR), Pounds Sterling (GBP) and US Dollar (USD) |

At the top of each Curiosite page, you can select
the currency you want the prices to be shown in. The currencies you can choose
from are Euros, US Dollars, and GB Pounds. Select the one that best suits you.
Prices are always equivalent in the three currencies.
Please be informed that charges on your credit card will always be in
Euros. If you place your order in GB Pounds or US Dollars, we need to
convert to Euros. Currency conversion is always made using the exchange rate
in effect at the date of the transaction and we try to charge the exact equivalent
amount in Euros so that the final charge you receive on your credit card is exactly
the same total amount as per your order in GBP or USD. However, some slight
differences may exist.

| 5. Return Policy,
Terms & Conditions |

| 5.1 Product
Return. 15 days return guarantee. |
|
You have fifteen days to return items purchased at
Curiosite, from receipt date. Returned merchandise should be in perfect, re-saleable condition,
including original packaging and seals. Once we receive the return item(s) we
will make all necessary arrangements to refund you. Please read carefully our
Refund Policy.
Please note: We can only accept return of products who have
been unsealed when the items are faulty, damaged or defective, provided that
those damages were caused by faulty manufacturing or damage during transport
and delivery.
Once we receive the item(s) which have been returned to us in the agreed
timeframe and that we have thoroughly checked that there was no error from our
side, we will be happy to refund you with the cost of the products excluding
shipping or delivery costs. Please read carefully How do I return and item?
When
the returned is caused to damage or error from our side, you will be refunded
full costs of the products including shipping and delivery expenses. |

| 5.2 How
can I send item(s) back? |
|
Regardless the reason for the return, please contact
our Customer Service Department before sending back any item(s). We can not accept
returns without previous authorization from that department.
Please remember that the item(s) should be returned in perfect, re-saleable
condition, including original packaging and seals. Once you receive instructions
from our Customer Service department, you can send back the item(s) taking special
care on the packaging to prevent any damage during transport. You need to be
aware that in case the item(s) suffer any damage caused for inappropriate packaging,
we will not be able to accept the return.
Upon reception of the returned item(s) and once they have been thoroughly by
Curiosite, we will go ahead with corresponding refund as per our Refund Policy.
Please note: If you’re sending merchandise from outside the
European Union (EU), please always declare a 5 Euros value for the merchandise,
do not declare a higher value and never indicate a value of 0 Euros. Please include
the following phrase (sic, in Spanish): "MERCANCIA SIN CARGO. VALOR A EFECTOS
ADUANA: 5 Euros". Thus, we are trying to prevent any customs duties upon
arrival in Spain. However, should any customs duties arise, they will be charged
to the customer (you).

damaged or incorrect item(s). |
|
You have 15 days from the receipt of the item(s) to
return merchandise to us. It is important that you contact our Customer Service
department to agree on return procedure.
If the product you receive is incorrect, not the one you ordered.
Please contact our Customer Service department to initiate the return
procedure.

| 5.4 Refund
Policy. |
|
Once we can check that item is faulty, damaged or incorrect,
Curiosite will be happy to refund your money in returning it to us, and you
will be informed by email. The refund will be made using the same method of payment
that was used to purchase the item(s): bank transfer or credit card.
Refunds and replacements will be arranged within 2 weeks of the date we receive
the returned goods.

Shipping within the European Union (EU)
Prices displayed on this site are inclusive of VAT. Within the EC/EU there is
free movement of goods and services, meaning that the customer receiving the
merchandise should never have to pay any taxes on imports, or customs duties.
Shipping outside the European Union (EU)
Prices displayed on the order and shipping costs are exclusive of imports taxes
(customs duties) which should be paid upon delivery by the customer receiving
the merchandise.
These charges will be different for each country and there may be countries where
they do not exist or apply. For further information please contact your local
customs office.
